About IPCoIS

IPCoIS (International Postgraduate Conference on Islamic Studies) is an academic forum and international study center under the auspices of Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University Samarinda. Established as a platform for cross-border scientific collaboration, IPCoIS is committed to strengthening the integration of Islam, science, technology, and global civilization, by establishing East Kalimantan as an epicenter for the development of Islamic science and culture in the Indonesian archipelago and globally.

Our Mission

The 3rd International Postgraduate Conference on Islamic Studies (IPCoIS) is to deepen understanding of Islam as a whole, not only from a religious perspective but also from the social, cultural, and daily life of Muslims. This conference seeks to examine how Muslim societies adapt to changing times, global challenges, and modern technological developments. Furthermore, IPCoIS provides a platform for postgraduate students and researchers to share ideas, research findings, and academic experiences across disciplines. Through international scientific collaboration, the conference aims to strengthen research networks and develop Islamic studies with a modern, critical approach that is relevant to today's global dynamics.
